Additional Information
The rate does not include the surcharge when using an Airport location, usually $40 – $45 + GST. This fee is reduced to $25 + GST for all NZ Airport location for AOPA NZ members.
Corporate rates are fixed rates that are not influenced by any seasonal fluctuations (as the ‘Leisure rates’ do) – however you are not locked into the Corporate rate but have the choice of using either the Corporate rate or the Leisure rate.
At different times of the year, depending on demand the Leisure rates may have a dip, taking them lower than the Corporate rate. On these occasions, you can select the Leisure rate.
You are also able to take advantage of any special deals that may be available from time to time. However, the Corporate rate is the most you will ever pay, regardless of any outside influences.
Please note that December through January is a period of high demand so we would advise that you make your reservations early to avoid disappointment.
With the Corporate rate you also have the added benefit of a lower excess. When using the Corporate rate the excess payable would be $1800 + GST for car groups A – C and $2500 + GST for larger vehicles, as opposed to $3000 + GST and $3750 + GST on a leisure rate.
There is an option to reduce your excess to nil on the corporate rate for an additional cost of $13 + GST per day for Group A – C and $18 + GST per day for larger vehicles. On a leisure rate the excess can only be reduced to $300 + GST for an additional $24 + GST per day
There is also no additional surcharge for underage drivers on the Corporate Programme. Normally drivers aged between 21 – 25 are charged a surcharge of $25 extra per day
Any additional add on’s such as GPS, car seats, ski chains are not included in the Corporate rate.
Any rentals would need to be paid for at the time of pick up with a credit card. All drivers must hold a full and valid drivers license
