Last weekend, 30 planes and around 80 people converged on Timaru Airport for the Christmas fly-in and BBQ lunch. There was some flying, there was talking, but despite some hype leading up to the event, Santa didn’t turn up. Never mind, AOPA NZ members are pretty good at having a good time in any situation.
CAA gave a presentation to those who were present, and there was also a brief presentation about the new charitable trust which AOPA NZ is looking to establish.
