From control tower to cockpit – pilots’ talk with Rex Brereton

Rex Brereton is an AOPA NZ member currently flying out of Fielding Aerodrome in the lower North Island. He has a long history of general aviation in New Zealand, including many years in ATC (Air Traffic Control).

In this interview, Rex talks about his experiences behind the controls of various airplanes, as well as behind the microphone, screen and binoculars in the control tower. This interview was filmed during challenging weather so please excuse the background noise part way through.
