Jules Tapper: be ready for the unexpected

Jules Tapper has a few good aviation yarns to tell. A keen aviator from an early age, he’s one of the lucky few who has been able to integrate business/work with flying right from the start, and has had a wonderful career as a result. Much of his flying has been in the mountains, in the bush and in and out of remote strips. So when it comes to advice for fellow pilots, he says: be ready for the unexpected.

Like when your prop flies off the front of your Tiger Moth. Or when your fuel lines cause your engine to stop dead. Jules shares his stories about these situations, and what others can learn from them.

His love of aviation is obvious, and he considers himself a very lucky man to have been able to combine business with the pleasure of flying.
