Dave Paterson has grown up surrounded by AOPA NZ members. From a flying family, Dave was in planes from an early age.
So it’s no surprise that he got his PPL and has progressed on to be a commercial airline pilot.
In this interview, Dave shares his perspectives on the differences – and similarities – in flying small fixed wing aircraft as well as (relatively) massive jet passenger planes. He talks about his mentors and friends at AOPA NZ. And he has some advice for aspiring pilots.
